FREE Lung Cancer CT Screenings at Lahey Clinic
If you are between the ages of 50 and 74, currently a smoker (or have quit within the past 15 years) and have a history of smoking at least a pack of cigarettes a day for 20 years, you may qualify for a free low-dose CT lung screening.
The screening is quick and painless and you do NOT have to be a Lahey patient to receive this free screening. However, your primary care doctor must order the test.
To learn more, please call 1-855-CT-CHEST between 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday to complete a screening questionnaire.

Raise Money, Awareness for Lung Cancer Research [5K Run/Walk]
Please join Team Lahey on Sunday, September 11, 2011, for the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (BJALCF) 5K run/walk. This family-friendly event helps raise money and awareness for lung cancer research.
Dr. Paul J. Hesketh, who heads up Lahey Clinic’s Thoracic Oncology team, will chair this year's event. Lahey Clinic is a collaborating partner of the Addario Lung Cancer Medical Institute (ALCMI), a lung cancer consortium connecting top thought leaders, scientists, researchers and physicians worldwide to lead and empower patients with better treatment options.

Helping those who love and care for breast cancer patients. That’s what the Caregivers Circle is all about. Lahey Clinic Medical Center, North Shore is proud to team up with Men With Heart (WMH) to offer an innovative, first of its kind support group.
On the first Wednesday of every month those who love and care for someone battling breast cancer are invited to the Caregivers Circle. This free group is designed to give you, the caregiver, strength, strategies, tactics and support.
